President Trump of the United States has posited that voting a political party with no clearly defined visions in the 2019 elections may spell doom for Nigerians. This is coming days after the United States Secretary of States, Rex Tillerson was received in Aso Rock Villa.
This may not be unconnected with the meeting between Buhari and Tillerson. The US Secretary of States was fired by the American President, Donald Trump because according to the President, Tillerson said something mean about the Russian President Vladimir Putin despite his warning.
The Nigerian President stated in the meeting that the Federal Government preferred the option of negotiating with the abductors of the school girls for their safe release. Recall that some school girls were abducted in from a Government Girls College in Dapchi town. It was reported that gun men stormed the premises of the school shooting sporodically into the air which forced many to flee for their dear lives. According to residents of the town while speaking to reporters alleged that the gun men carted away food items from the stores of the Government Girls Secondary School in Bursari Local Government of Yobe State.
Recall that Boko Haram attacked Chibok Girls Secondary School in Borno State and abducted 276 girls four years ago in a similar attack. Recently the Buhari administration has been criticized of negligence of the country’s problems of insecurity.
