When Report Nigeria said that Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is the leading outfit among other security outfits in Nigeria with Corruption-free officials who trash criminals, some individuals were against us.
Now, imagine an officer, Prince Orji Ugochukwu with less than 200,000 Naira monthly salary rejecting a sum of 10 million Naira and the latest iPhone just to let go of a criminal.

Again, imagine a 2ic and an OC (2nd-officer-in-charge And Officer-In-Charge) not collecting the 200k and iPhone to share among Officers in their Shift.
Some security outfits might after collecting the money and sharing among themselves, they will then arrest the criminals.
But No !, Immigration did not do any of the above but they genuinely handed Ezeani and his ill-gotten wealth to Nigerian Government to do the needful.

Anyway, our point here is, this is another reminder that NIS is made up of highly educated Officers. And education gives birth to conscientious individuals who work with good sense of reasoning to combat criminals.
Nigerian Government should screen every security outfit in Nigeria and sieve out all the uneducated individuals denting the image of this nation.
First Degree should be the minimum qualification to be recruited in every security outfit in Nigeria.
And other security outfits should emulate Immigration Service who always allow recruited Officers to enroll in university education amid their own training at Immigration Training School.
By the above statement, already recruited Officers without first degree in education should be sent to complete their education.
Also, any security officer without the interest of the nation at heart should be sacked and prosecuted.
Thank you Nigeria Immigration Service
Thank you officer Orji Ugochukwu ( Orji Okeosisi)
Thank you Umumba Ezeagu community for exposing the black sheep in your midst.
