This picture has been making round the Internet with people criticising the police officer here. But whoever snapped the picture did not put any caption for clarification.
It took our search team days to unravel the situation that led to this picture.
But, as fate would have it, the police officer you see above was plying the root. Being a trained and sensible police officer, he rescued the lady.
HIS TACTICS: It is never easy for a single police officer to fool an angry mob. But this gallant officer succeeded in this. He was pleading with the crowd, playing along with them jokingly.
At the same time, he was taking the lady out of the scene. He knew that he would have achieved nothing with force and might end up being mobbed.
Nevertheless, if the lady let go of the officer, she might not leave the scene alive. Hence, her reason for holding tight on the police officer.
That was how the police man rescued her.
However, this is a pure case of jungle justice and gender inequality. If this police man gets reinforced and comes back for arrest, all those involved will go-in for this criminal acts. There will be charges for Attempted murder, Assault, Rape,etc.
Therefore, you that partake in taking the laws into your hands. You that partake in Jungle Justice, You that violate people’s right, be careful for you may not be lucky to escape the long arms of the law.
However, while we put clarity on this picture, we also use this forum to thank the Nigerian police force (especially this police officer here ) for going extra mile in protecting the citizens.
We also implore with everyone to desist from JUNGLE JUSTICE. STOP BARBARISM. ALWAYS REPORT EVERY OFFENCE TO THE AUTHORITIES.
