Honourable Independence Ogunewe,Former House of Representatives member, from Imo state is reportedly dead.
He reportedly died a few hours ago in his home in Abuja.
Independence Ogunewe was a member of the PDP, represented Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Imo State.
Honourable Independence Ogunewe was a 2-time member of the 6th Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. He represented Ahiazu Ezinhitte Federal constituency, Imo state.
His corpse has already been deposited at the National Hospital, Abuja. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Investigation is still ongoing.
One of the people who recovered his corpse said that Independence Ogunewe might have died in accident. His death might not be unconnected with the a fall on the bathroom tiles. Which might have led to his fall in the bathroom. He said that cup and tooth brush seen in certain positions may have been what he was holding.
Moreover, it might be that he was about to have a mouth/teeth wash. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
An eyewitness stated thus “
