SEE WHY NIGERIAN DOCTORS WENT ON STRIKE

State hospital Doctors in Nigerian in state-have gone on strike.

The strike was due to lack of welfare and inadequate covid 19 protective equipment.

However, the doctors said that medics who are treating coronavirus patients will not join in the strike.

It should be recalled that Nigeria, the Africa’s most populous nation of 200 million inhabitants, has recorded 16,085 cases and over 420 deaths since the first documented case of the virus in February. 

However, the doctors said that medics who are treating coronavirus patients will not join in the strike.

Nevertheless, not less than 800 health workers have been infected by the virus. The statistics is according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) report.

It should be recalled that Nigeria, the Africa’s most populous nation of 200 million inhabitants, has recorded 16,085 cases and over 420 deaths since the first documented case of the virus in February.
