A top Ghanaian musician, Joey B has attracted the wrath of many fans who are not happy with his silence during a Nigerian interview.

Joey B during a visit to Nigeria had an interactive section with Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos.

However the Beat 99.9FM radio presenter put it to him that Ghanaian Acts display hostile attitudes towards Nigerian musicians whenever they visit Ghana.

Below is the interview line put to Joey B by the Nigerian presenter, Olisa Adibua.

“In terms of your people, it seems they don’t like Nigerians coming through. I heard about one or two issues that happened with the Cardi B show as well recently… I heard somethings that were not good, and if you behave like that with Afronation, no one is going to come back to GHANA with a show”

During the conversation, Joey B, who was with Ghanaian music producer, Guilty Beatz, could not say anything about the comments.

This has put Ghanaian acts in a bad light and had left Ghanaians on social media upset.

Moreover, many fans like Yvonne Nelson and Medikal are of the opinion that Joey would have said something to defend his co-musicians.

This has sparked a conversation on Twitter which has seen Joey B picking a trending spot on the micro-blogging platform. However, a few others commend the “Tonga” hitmaker for his composure during the interview.
